Youth Mentoring

The Youth Mentoring Program (coordinated by Red Cross) provides support to young people (aged 14-25 years) who have had recent contact with police or justice services.

The mentor connects regularly with the young person and together they work towards achieving the young person's personal goals and areas of interest.

Young people in the program will be supported to participate in other Tiraapendi Wodli courses and education such as gaining their L-Plate permit, access to relevant personal ID, health and wellbeing programs, harm minimisation drug and alcohol awareness and work experience.

Participants can self-refer or be referred by an agency. Participants will be supported for as long as they remain connected, generally up to 12 months.
